Lenderink Technologies is very pleased to join the National Guild of Professional Paperhangers. We make our introduction official in this issue of The Installer and look forward to working with many of you in the coming years as together we explore the many new and exciting surface and application opportunities this industry has to offer.
Eco-friendly
On the heels of the national convention in New Orleans we are eager to serve you with our full line of eco-friendly surface treatments, substrates and backer materials. Our product offerings include but are not limited to handcrafted papers and panels, real wood paper and custom designed papers. For over 40 years Lenderink Technologies has been offering designers, decorators, architects and specifiers access to new technology and surface innovation. Our source base extends internationally as we pull together global technology, exotic materials sources, and surface innovation here in the states.
High Quality
1970 saw the breakup of the Beatles and the birth of Lenderink Technologies. Music wasn’t our business — wood was, and not just any wood, but high quality, fire retarded renewable wood veneers. Our on-site lab allowed us to formulate just the right backer and flame retardant for the application, quickly and easily. This combination allowed Lenderink Technologies to become a leading supplier of domestic and exotic wood veneers, microwood, specialty backers, adhesives and Class “A” fire retardants. As the market for “natural” applications and real-wood veneering developed we saw the need to engineer environmentally friendly, easy-to-use “rollable” wood veneer. Enter our PaperWoodTM and MicroWoodTM veneer lines. These are an extremely smooth microthin veneer backed appropriately for specialty surface applications. We also offer a diverse line of backers and substrate materials including but not limited to AcoustaCoreTM 90% post consumer acoustic/thermal board, PerforaBoard, and many other acoustic/thermal enhancing materials.
Full-Service Line
We have been honored to work with the fine Maya Romanoff Corporation. The high design and unique application properties of many of our surface materials were especially suited to their specific applications. Lenderink Technologies has a full-service on-site lab which allows for materials configuration and prototyping as per designer specs. For instance as the need has grown for very specialized looks we introduced 100% natural fiber banana surfaces. This beautiful surface comes in four natural shades (no dyes) and is processed right at the plantation. We can produce large sheets over 4′ x 8′ and rolls. For even more high end surface options we offer leather with surfaces in absolutely any Pantone shade with any photo, pattern, logo, or design desired. Whether wood veneers, bamboo, banana fiber, bark (yes you read that correctly ‘bark’) or leather. Prefinished or 100% natural surfaces. Printed and/or fire retarded for walls, windows (vertical louvers/valances), ceilings, hot or 3D.
Specialized
Interest in very specialized surface and high design options continued to expand this portion of our business. This expansion included the introduction of our pre-finished (top coated) and color stained woods and overlays. Many now use Lenderink MicroThinTM Veneer for its translucent effects and ease of application. With certain clear backings light transfers beautifully through the grain giving a very unique backlit effect for panels, lamp shades, special lighting effects for windows, etc. Additionally we have the ability to full color print on any size wood with high registration.
